London Home - 2018 - Complete replacement and upgrade of existing Clipsal / Cbus Lighting and security System

We were approached by this family to replace an existing smart home system that was supplied by the developers that built their house. They found the system complicated to use and limited in functionality. Further more they struggled to get support from the people that installed it when they had problems.

We suggested to replace the entire system with Crestron, this included all lighting control and keypads, as well as complicated external security systems. The project took 3 weeks to complete and involved fitting a new alarm and CCTV system at the same time. The garden lighting was also added to the Crestron system.

The end result was very well received by the family, finally they had the system they wanted. Over the course of the installations we programmed the lighting scenes as they wanted them, not as they were previously set by the original builder. The keypads were also engraved to aid visitors to the house when using the system.

As the final finishing touch a Crestron control system was added for the AV system, this allowed a simple, single remote control to watch the TV and listen to music. The music system was upgraded with the fantastic NAIM Uniti series allowing playback of online streaming services such as Tidal and Spotify. An AVID turntable was also included for playing back the family's vinyl collection bringing back wonderful memories as only vinyl can do.
